His infectious stage cry of "HI-DEE-HI!", inciting his audiences to reply with an ecstatic "HI-DEE-HOOOOO!" And his ever present, loud to quiet, "KILLER RAY RAY RAY RAY RAY RAY ray ray ray..!" [due to the fact he had no echo effects on his vocals] became highly memorable trademarks of this natural born entertainer that fast became the granddad that everyone had always wanted.
